BIMTAC TeamComplete Guide: Sharing your BIMTAC checklists
An interactive checklist only has value if it's used by the right people at the right time. At BIMTAC, we've made it a priority to make sharing as simple and high-performing as creation itself.
No more PDFs sent by email that end up obsolete on a hard drive. Discover the multiple ways to distribute your living procedures.
1. Direct sharing link: The universal method
This is the fastest and most used method. Once your checklist is finalized, you get a unique link (URL).
How does it work?
- In the editor, click the Share button.
- Copy the generated link.
- Paste this link wherever you want: in an email, a Slack message, an SMS, etc.
The recipient clicks on the link and arrives directly at the interactive checklist. They don't even need to create a BIMTAC account to start using it! (They'll just need to log in if they want to save their progress long-term).
💡 The big technical plus: Unlike a Word file, if you update the checklist in your editor, everyone who clicks on the link will immediately see the new version. You have the guarantee that your teams are always using the most recent procedure.
2. Targeted sharing for your collaborators
If you use BIMTAC in a team, you don't need to send links on the fly. You can assign a checklist directly to a colleague.
The method:
- Go to your Projects.
- Create a new "Instance" (an execution copy of your checklist).
- Click "Assign" and select the person in your team.
Your colleague will receive a notification (if configured) and the checklist will appear directly in their personal BIMTAC dashboard. This is ideal for HR onboarding or distributing specific tasks.
3. Integration (Embed): The "Wow" feature
Do you already have a website, an intranet (like Notion or SharePoint), or a document management tool? Don't want your users to leave your environment?
Integration (embed) is made for you.
Why embed?
Rather than having a link that redirects to BIMTAC, the checklist is displayed directly on your website, as if it were a feature coded by you.
How to proceed?
- Go to the presentation page of your public checklist.
- Click on the Integration (or Embed) tab.
- You'll find a piece of HTML code (
<iframe>). - Copy this code and paste it into your website's content manager (WordPress, Webflow, Notion, etc.).
The live preview even allows you to test the integration before publishing it.
Conclusion
BIMTAC multiplies the power of your procedures by removing all the friction related to distribution. Share massively via links, assign precisely to your teams, or embed elegantly on your platform: the choice is yours!
